Are you in the final stretch of your Subaru lease? It's important to know your options as you prepare to reach your lease expiration date. The Twin City Subaru team is here to help you choose your best option and keep the process speedy and simple.

First, prepare for vehicle for lease return.

Examine your vehicle for possible excessive wear and tear and make any necessary repairs -- otherwise it may cost you a surcharge upon your lease return. If you do think your vehicle has excessive use, be sure to contact us, and we'll provide you with a complimentary inspection. You will want to do this 15 to 60 days before your lease maturity date.

End-of-Lease Options

Option 1:

Select a new Subaru

Option 2:

Purchase your Subaru
If you'd like to stay in the Subaru you're currently driving, just call us at 802-223-5232 and we'll tell you how you can purchase your leased vehicle.

Simply turn in your Subaru
Below is a step-by-step guide to help you with the lease turn-in process.

Turning In Your Subaru

These instructions will help ensure returning your Subaru is easy and efficient. 

1. Prior to your lease-end date:
Contact Twin City Subaru to make arrangements for the return. 

2. On your turn-in day:

Make sure your vehicle is ready to turn in. 
  • Remove all personal items. 
  • Place the owner's manual in the glove box. 
  • Turn in both sets of keys to your vehicle. 
  • Remove the license plates and return them to your state's motor vehicle department unless you live in a state listed.

3. Within 1 business day after returning your vehicle: 

Inform Subaru Motor Finance of your turned in lease vehicle by calling them at 866-401-9743, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 8 pm Eastern Time. 

4. If you have set up automatic lease payments: 

Please remember to cancel any recurring payments you may have for your Subaru lease.
