2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid Coming Soon to 802 Subaru
The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid offers the same capabilities you know and love from the traditional Crosstrek with improved fuel efficiency and effortless ownership thanks to the new hybrid engine. Unlike the previous Crosstrek Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that needed to be recharged with a charging cable, the new Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid has a brand-new series-parallel hybrid system. Simply gas up like normal and enjoy the convenience of excellent fuel efficiency with no range anxiety.
Performance
The 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid has a next-generation hybrid system and standard symmetrical all-wheel drive. It uses a 2.5-liter Subaru BOXER® engine with an electric motor generator and traction motor. The high-capacity lithium-ion battery recharges itself by recapturing energy produced during normal operation. The engine makes a total of 194 horsepower and has a total range of about 597 miles. The Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid has 33 percent greater fuel efficiency than the standard Crosstrek.
Technology
The Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is the most advanced ever, with generous advanced technology features and an easy-to-use infotainment system. The large 11.6-inch touchscreen is prominently displayed in the center of the dashboard. It's been purposely designed for easy use and fewer driver distractions thanks to large, brightly lit icons and hands-free controls. There is also a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with important vehicle information at a glance.
